Biography

Best known as the lead guitarist for classic hard rockers Heart, Nancy Wilson has nonetheless established herself as one of rock's most inventive acoustic guitarists. At age 20, she joined her sister Ann in Heart, and on the strength of such chart-busters as "Magic Man," "Barracuda," and "Crazy On You," became one of the hottest acts of the Seventies. After a short stint out of the spotlight, the Wilson sisters reemerged in 1985 with a self-titled Heart album that contained four Top 10 hits including "What About Love" and "Never." In 1999, Nancy released her first solo album, Live at McCabe's Guitar Shop.
