Biography

A professional musician for 35 years, Milwaukee-based jazz guitarist Don Linke has covered an impressive range of gigs, from being a recording artist to a theater pit musician to sideman for Greg Abate, Frank Morgan, and Melvin Rhyne, among others. Linke has also dedicated much of his career to being an educator, having taught music in high schools, technical colleges, and universities, including a 26-year stint at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music, and his current position as lecturer at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in the Jazz Guitar program.
