Biography

Denny Rauen is a nationally acclaimed master luthier whose clientele includes many top musicians and collectors from around the world - including Keith Richards, Buddy Guy, Leo Kottke, Roger Glover, and many more. He is a former manager and designer for Chicago-area guitar manufacturers S.D. Curlee and Dean Guitars, and in 1988 was featured in Guitar Player magazine as one of the nation's finest luthiers. For the last 20 years, Rauen has owned and operated Rauen Guitars in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where his primary focus these days is the restoration of vintage instruments.
