Biography

Like so many guitarists of his generation, Michael Thompson was inspired to become a musician after seeing the Beatles play "The Ed Sullivan Show," in 1964. He picked up the guitar at age 9 and 10 years later attended the Berklee College of Music in Boston. In 1979, he moved to L.A. to begin his career as a studio musician. He's toured with Joe Cocker and Cher and has recorded myriad projects with such renowned producers as Babyface, Quincy Jones, and Mutt Lange. For more, visit MichaelThompson.cc.
